New Haven Symphony Orchestra

First concert of the season last night.  Not only did everything go flawlessly as far as logistics (thanks to the Yale cop at Woolsey Hall who let me park in the no-standing zone while bringing in Dad), it was a fantastic concert.  Dad enjoyed it immensely.  Pianist Michael Brown performed the Beethoven 3d Piano Concerto to perfection.  The orchestra rose to the same level.  Dad and I heard the BSO do it with Radu Lupu last winter, and it was wonderful--this was better.  Apologies for the lousy quality of the shot.
